No markings in Atut (→FEEE,GE1GE2)

 in GE3

The  marks added in GE3 in bars 15 and 19 were drawn from the parts of violin I, violas and cellos in FEorch (→GEorch). It is difficult to determine whether differing indications between the orchestral part and Atut (→FEEE,GE1GE2) were intended by Chopin or whether they resulted from lack of coordination of corrections introduced in various sources (cf. bars 13-15 and 33). In the latter, it would not be actually possible to determine chronology of the versions and, consequently, Chopin's latest intention. In such an uncertain situation, in the main text we reproduce the version of the undoubtedly authentic sources – Atut and the editions based thereupon.
