In the entire movement (until bar 620), GE is lacking in a few minor performance markings – slurs in bar 601, 607-609, 611, dynamic hairpins in bar 610, 615, accent in bar 616. All of them can be explained by carelessness of the engraver of GE1 or by a Chopinesque proofreading of FE, performed already after the copy had been sent to Leipzig.
