Slur in FE (→GE,EE)

2 slurs suggested by the editors

The slur, encompassing the entire motif ending bar 529, most probably concerned the original version of rhythm – three semiquavers. Therefore, it cannot be excluded that the fact of leaving it here was a result of inadvertence at the time of marking or implementing that proofreading. It is also likely that Chopin abandoned proofreading of that correctly printed slur only due to its minor influence on performance. In this situation, in the main text we suggest a modification of slurring, including the authentic slur, added along with the change of rhythm in analogous bar 174.
