FE (→GE1→GE2) are lacking in the accidental before the 5th semiquaver from the end, which results in g2. This patent mistake is evidenced by the before the next note, which is g2. The mistake was corrected in EE and GE3. The same applies to b. 189. category imprint: Interpretations within context; Differences between sources issues: EE revisions , Errors in FE , Omissions to cancel alteration , GE revisions , Errors repeated in GE |

The sources are lacking in the accidental before the 2nd played note of the run. It must be Chopin's mistake (one of the most frequent ones – oversight of an alteration's cancellation), since a2 would have suggested a turn towards B major (G minor), and not F minor, whose dominant we are about to hear. Due to the absence of this accidental, a2 should also be in the ending of the run. category imprint: Interpretations within context; Editorial revisions issues: Omissions to cancel alteration , Errors repeated in GE , Errors repeated in EE |

FE (→GE,EE) are lacking in the restoring d2 on the 6th note of the run. In EE it is also the restoring e2 two notes later that is missing. In practice, these mistakes are of no major significance, since there is no doubt that we are dealing with a chromatic sequence. In FE (→GE1,EE), there is no restoring e3 on the 7th note of the run from the end. The patent mistake was corrected in GE2 (→GE3). The absence of a respective correction in EE is noteworthy, in which space for an accidental was left before this note. It is likely that the engraver forgot to insert the accidental intended by the reviser. FE (→GE) are lacking in the restoring f2 on the 11th small note and in the restoring b1 on the last one. EE corrected only the latter; in turn, two cautionary accidentals were added – before e2 (5th quaver) and before g2 (10th quaver). category imprint: Interpretations within context; Differences between sources; Editorial revisions issues: EE revisions , Errors in FE , Omissions to cancel alteration , GE revisions |
