b. 111-112
|
composition: Op. 22, Andante spianato
..
In the main text we suggest differentiated accents after analogous b. 67-68 and 70-71. In the face of uncertainty concerning Chopin's intention as to the type of the accents used, the remaining versions can be considered equivalent variants. category imprint: Graphic ambiguousness; Differences between sources; Editorial revisions issues: Long accents , Inaccuracies in GE , GE revisions |

b. 113
|
composition: Op. 22, Andante spianato
..
In terms of music, the accent added in EE is very justified: cf. analogous b. 96. However, it is absent in FE (→GE), and we keep this sparing notation in the main text believing that Chopin could have imagined this short recall of the Semplice section at the end of the piece with subdued, more delicate accents. category imprint: Differences between sources issues: EE revisions |
