The easiest explanation for the absence of a 
mark in GE would be an oversight, although a revision also cannot be excluded. In turn, the missing 
mark may be authentic and does not have to be considered a mistake, since there are marks without following marks in Chopin's pieces. Despite that, in the main text we suggest [] at the end of b. 66, mostly to warn performers from earlier pedal changes.
