Trill over b1 in FE

Trill over b1 & a1 in GE

No trill in bar 188 in EE

The differences in the length of the wavy line of the trill are most probably accidental. There is no reason to doubt the authenticity of the version of FE. The version of EE must be erroneous – if the bin bar 188 was not supposed to be encompassed with the trill, there would be no reason to drag the wavy line over the naturals introducing a new key. According to us, a possible Chopinesque proofreading of GE is also unlikely – a single note, in this case an a1, is a natural way of ending a trill in such a context.
