In GE, there is no  restoring aat the end of the bar. This patent mistake was most probably originally present also in FE (and probably also in [A]), in which, however, it was corrected in the last proofreading.

The version of GE must be erroneous – cf. analogous bar 120. The mistake was probably also in FE, where, however, it was corrected – perhaps by Chopin – in the last phase of proofreading.

GE features  on the first crotchet in the bar. It is probably the original version, corrected by Chopin in the last stage of development of FE (→EE).

GE has cautionary  next to gin bars 254 and 255. These superfluous signs were also in FE, yet they were removed, most probably in the last proofreading. In EE3, the reviser added both signs, perhaps by comparison with GE.

In FE, there are visible traces of removal of superfluous cautionary  next to all bin bars 256 and 257. The signs were probably removed in the first proofreading of FE, since they are absent both in GE and EE (cf. bars 254-255).
