Four necessary flats lowering g to g (in different octaves) are missing in A: Chopin wrote signs only at the beginning of the bars, in the L.H. in bar 363 and in the R.H. in bar 364. In GE1 (→FE1→EE1→EE2) a  was added before the bass G in bar 365, but it is only GE2 and EE3 that include the fully correct notation.

It is only GE2 that includes a natural before b2, the 4th quaver in bars 426 and 428; however, due to the use of an octave sign, we consider the sound of this note to be specified also in the remaining sources.

In A the notation of accidentals in this bar is inaccurate:

  • there is only one  before the 1st chord in the R.H.; moreover, it is written in such a way that one cannot be certain which note it concerns (we assume that it is d3),
  • in each of the triplets, a  is only before the 1st note,
  • no  before the bottom note of the third in the L.H. on the 3rd beat of the bar.

The necessary signs were added already in GE1 (→FE); however, the  before the bottom note of the octave in the L.H. at the beginning of the bar was overlooked. EE and GE2 feature the correct notation.

A features a cautionary  before e3 in the last triplet, yet the necessary  lowering d3 to d3 is missing. A flat was added already in GE1 (→FE→EE, →GE2), however, no source removed the superfluous .
