The staccato dot and the slur, which specify the articulation within the last phrase of this period in A, were replaced in GE1 (→FE→EE) with a slur over the group of quavers. According to us, the change cannot come from Chopin, and it is certainly one of numerous obvious inaccuracies in the reproduction of slurs by the engraver of GE1.
