In A, there is no change of clef to treble in the part of the L.H. before the entrance of the solo piano in bar 65. This patent mistake was rectified in GE, yet the erroneous notation of A is to be found in FE, which suggests that the correction of GE1 was introduced in the last phase of proofreading. EE includes the correct text; the correct clef is written also in FEJ (the carelessly written sign does not allow to identify the person who wrote it; it was probably the owner of the copy, Ludwika Jędrzejewicz). category imprint: Interpretations within context; Differences between sources issues: EE revisions , GE revisions , Errors of A , Errors repeated in FE |

A does not have an octave sign, which is a patent mistake, probably caused by distraction following from the transition into a new page (the bar is the last on the page). The mistake was rectified – perhaps at Chopin's request – already in GE1 (→FE→EE, →GE2). category imprint: Differences between sources issues: Errors of A , Authentic corrections of GE |

The sign in A is a typical long accent. In GE1 it was moved to the end of the triplet, so it is unknown which note it concerns (the engraver most probably considered it a hairpin). In the remaining editions, the placement and size of the sign were subject to further arbitrary changes although the notations of EE and GE2 are generally similar to the notation of A. category imprint: Differences between sources issues: Long accents , Inaccuracies in GE , Inaccuracies in FE , GE revisions , EE inaccuracies |

Moving the 2nd crotchet an octave lower is undoubtedly a result of a Chopin proofreading of FE (→EE). He introduced an identical change in an analogous situation in bar 76. category imprint: Differences between sources; Corrections & alterations issues: Authentic corrections of FE , Main-line changes |

EE erroneously omitted the staccato dot over the 2nd crotchet in the bar. Since the dot in FE is copied poorly, it could have been assumed that it was to be removed (the dot's "debilitation" is most probably a result of the proofreading of pitch). category imprint: Differences between sources issues: Errors in EE |
