b. 233
|
composition: Op. 21, Concerto in F minor, Mvt I
..
The logic of the figuration's structure and a comparison with analogous bar 235 point to a Terzverschreibung error of FE. The conclusion finds confirmation in a correction of this note performed in pencil – perhaps with Chopin's hand – in FES. category imprint: Differences between sources issues: Annotations in teaching copies , EE revisions , Errors in FE , Terzverschreibung error , Annotations in FES |

b. 243

composition: Op. 21, Concerto in F minor, Mvt I

FE1 has an erroneous c2 instead of an e2 as the 5th semiquaver. The mistake was corrected in FE2 (→EE). category imprint: Interpretations within context; Differences between sources issues: Errors in FE , Terzverschreibung error , FE revisions |

b. 264

composition: Op. 21, Concerto in F minor, Mvt I
..
The top most note of the chord on the 4th quaver in GE1 (→FE1) is an erroneous b3. The mistake was corrected – most probably by Chopin – in the proofreading of FE2 (→EE). The correct version is also in GE2. category imprint: Interpretations within context; Differences between sources issues: Errors in GE , Terzverschreibung error , GE revisions , Authentic corrections of FE |

b. 285
|
composition: Op. 21, Concerto in F minor, Mvt I
..
The version of FE (→EE) is most probably a Terzverschreibung error – in the recapitulation A has an almost unchanged accompaniment, with respect to the exposition, in the entire theme (from bar 273); there are also no visible traces of correction in print in FE. category imprint: Differences between sources issues: Errors in FE , Terzverschreibung error |

b. 300
|
composition: Op. 21, Concerto in F minor, Mvt I
..
Disruption of the regularity of the sequence of semiquavers in the version of FE is certainly a result of a mistake of the engraver, who instead of the correct notes repeated two previous ones (f1-b1). Chopin corrected it in FED. EE also includes the correct text, which proves the good intuition and courage of the reviser of this edition, since the mistake, no matter how obvious, when seeing the correct text of A (→GE), gives a version that is neither sonically striking nor pianistically inconvenient. category imprint: Differences between sources issues: Annotations in teaching copies , EE revisions , Errors in FE , Annotations in FED , Terzverschreibung error |
