In GE1 and in the remaining editions, the slur starts – contrary to A – only from the 1st semiquaver. The reason for this inaccuracy were most probably difficulties of a graphic character: moving the beginning of the slur facilitates a legible placement of all elements of notation accumulated in this space (inscriptions, an octave sign, a phrase mark, a tie, notes over the stave). Both notations are practically equal, hence we do not consider the difference to be an actual variant.
