The slurs of GE1 (→FE→EE) may be partially considered a result of Chopin's intervention: the slur running from the 2nd quaver could have been added as a probably simplified correction of the erroneous, too short slur in the 2nd half of the bar. Apart from the literal interpretation of this slurring, we suggest another two possible interpretations.
