Slurs from 2nd quaver in A & GE2

Slurs from 1st quaver in GE1 (→FEEE)

..

The half-bar slurs of GE1 (→FEEE) are certainly an inaccuracy in reproducing A – cf. bar 312, in which the same slurs of A were reproduced correctly in the editions.

b. 316

composition: Op. 21, Concerto in F minor, Mvt I

..

In GE1 (→FEEE) there is no cautionary  before at the beginning of the bar, added in A later with a foreign hand. In the main text we include this sign, facilitating the interpretation.

No slur in A (→GE1FE)

Slur A-B in EE & GE2

..

The absence of the slur emphasising the A-B bass step is most probably Chopin's oversight. The slur was added by the revisers of EE and GE2.

3-quaver slurs in A (→GEFE)

4-quaver slurs in EE

..

Both top slurs in the L.H. in bar 316 and the first one in bar 318 embrace in EE four quavers each, in spite of the fact that in A (→GEFE) the slurs continue the slurring scheme from bar 315. It is probably a revision unifying the slurs in bars 316-318, based on the erroneous slurs of FE in bar 317 and 318.
