GC and FE1 (→FE2→FE3) do not include naturals before the octave on the 4th quaver of the bar. The flats before g2 and g1 in the 2nd half of the bar prove Chopin's oversight. The naturals were added in GE and EE, as well as in FE4.

The accents under the minims of the middle voice of the R.H. are in GC (both) and FE (→EE) – only in bar 37. The missing signs were most probably overlooked as a result of an oversight or misunderstanding.

Our variant suggestion

It is hard to determine which was Chopin's final intention, as far as the sustention of d is concerned. The tie in GC could have been added by Chopin, yet it is also likely that it was in [A] but it was overlooked by the engraver of FE (→EE1). On the other hand, Chopin did not add it either in the proofreadings of FE3 and FE4 or in any of the pupil's copies. Due to the above reasons, in the main text we suggest a variant solution.

The  signs in bars 43-44 and 46 were probably added in GC (→GE) by Chopin. The latter was added later also in EE2.
