The analysis of all four analogous places (bars 14-16, 22-24, 68-70 and 76-78) leads to a conclusion that the slur of GE1, based on an interpretation of the abbreviated notation of GC using the "copy and paste" method, is probably inaccurate. The two remaining versions, being certainly (FE3) or probably (EE) a result of proofreading entries of Chopin, can be, in turn, considered to be authentic. We base the main text on EE, whose concordance with Chopin's idea is, according to us, most likely.
