End of slur in GC, literal reading

End of slur in GC (contextual interpretation→GE) & FE1 (→FE2EE,FE3FE4)

In GC, same as in bar 16 (bar 24 is only marked as its repetition), the end of the slur can be interpreted twofold. In the main text we give a more likely, conventional interpretation of this detail, present in all editions (except for FE5, in which the slur in bars 23-24 was entirely overlooked).
