The lack of in FE (→EE1→EE2) results most probably from an oversight of the engraver. There is no visible sign of a hypothetical deletion of the sign during the proofreading of FE. The hairpin added in EE3 is the first from a few revisions of this kind introduced in this edition. category imprint: Differences between sources issues: EE revisions , Errors in FE |

In FE (→EE), bar 25 ends with a slur and a tie going into bar 26 on a new line of text. However, in bar 26 only one of the signs finds its continuation. From the notation it is difficult to conclude whether the omitted ending was a tie or a slur. category imprint: Differences between sources issues: Errors in FE |

In FE (→EE) b1 being a prolongation of the note from the previous bar is mistakenly written as a whole note. category imprint: Differences between sources issues: Errors in FE |

FE omits the dashed line that marks the extent of the poco a poco crescendo. It is almost certainly a mistake, a rather frequent one in this edition (cf. notes to bar 41). EE supplemented the FE notation with dots linking particular words of the indication. This is certainly an arbitrary addition. category imprint: Differences between sources issues: EE revisions , Errors in FE |
