b. 100-101

composition: Op. 27 No 1, Nocturne in C# minor

Slurs in GE, EE3

No slurs in FE

Notation of  EE1(→EE2)

..

FE (→EE1EE2) omitted both slurs encompassing two last chords of the Nocturne. It is difficult to say wether it was an oversight, or the engraver of FE left the slurs out regarding them as misplaced ties. Moreover, EE1 (→EE2) misunderstood the authentic division of the voices indicating the pianistically natural execution with e-g played by R.H., and G-c by L.H. In EE3 the undoubtedy correct GE version was reinstated.

b. 100

composition: Op. 27 No 1, Nocturne in C# minor

in GE (→FE)

No marking in EE

..

GE (→FE) has sign for the L.H. sextuplet. The hairpin is missing from EE probably due to oversight. It is also possible that the reviser of EE removed the hairpin as contradicting the sign placed above.
