Both addition of a raising d1 to d1 in EEW1 and its deletion in EEW2 are arbitrary revisions of the publishing house. The first results from the conventional sense of harmony of the reviser performing a routine check of the notation of accidentals, whereas the second one – from comparison to FE or GE. category imprint: Differences between sources issues: EE revisions |

In the main text we give the slurs of A. The versions of the presentation autographs may be considered to be alternative or only precising the suggestions of the nuanced leading of the phrase and of accentuation (except for the clearly unfinished notation of AII). The contextual interpretation of the first slur in AI allows to assume the slurring of GE2op (→#GE3op) to be also admissible. The versions of the remaining editions are either erroneous or completely arbitrary. category imprint: Graphic ambiguousness; Differences between sources; Corrections & alterations issues: EE revisions , Errors in FE , GE revisions |

No pedalling signs in this bar is probably a result of Chopin's oversight in A in bar 25 (all subsequent repetitions of this phrase are only signalised as repetitions of this bar). The signs were added in EE, they are also – in bar 25 – in AI. category imprint: Differences between sources; Editorial revisions issues: EE revisions |
