Our variant suggestion

The omission of pedalling in this bar seems to be a mistake of Chopin in A (→FE→GE,EEC). The indications were added in EEW1 (→EEW2), the pedalling is also in AI, yet a different part of the L.H. in this autograph does not allow for an automatic introduction of the indication written there to the published version. Therefore, in the main text we signalise the missing pedalling in the final version with the help of brackets.
