The fifth chord in GC (→GE) is a result of a correction (of Chopin or of the copyist), however, the initial version, then changed, was not the g-g1 octave present in FE and EE. Therefore, it seems that in the base texts to these editions Chopin changed this or another original version to the g-g1 octave.
