All sources, except for GE2 (→GE3), include an additional  before c1 in the bottom voice. It can be a remnant of the hypothetical original notation, in which the two previous thirds were written as c1-e1. Following the second German edition, we do not consider this superfluous sign in the main text.

In GC and FE there is no  lowering c to c. This patent inaccuracy was corrected in GE and EE.

In FE there are no accidentals before the 7th and 8th demisemiquavers. This frequent inaccuracy in Chopin notation was most probably repeated after the manuscript. Chopin partially corrected his mistake in GC and FED, adding a  raising g to g. EE and GE include the correct notation.

As the 2nd note of the last sextuplet GE1 includes the erroneous D instead of E. The mistake was corrected in GE2 (→GE3).

Longer slur in GC, EE & GE2 (→GE3)

Shorter slur in FE & GE1

The moment of ending the slur in GC is not entirely clear – it can be interpreted as including only bar 27, as it was done in GE1, or as reaching E1 in bar 28, as it is in GE2 (→GE3). According to us, it is the second interpretation that is correct. We give this version, present also in EE, in the main text.
