b. 77

composition: Op. 26 No 1, Polonaise in C♯ minor
..
The fact of leaving the ties sustaining c3 and b2 in FE (→GE1,EE) may result both from an inaccurate proofreading of Chopin and a careless implementation of his notes by the engraver. The revisers of GE2 (→GE3→GE4→GE5) deleted the ties, most probably after comparison with analogous bar 45, which was corrected by the composer. category imprint: Differences between sources; Corrections & alterations issues: Inaccuracies in GE , Inaccuracies in FE , EE inaccuracies , Omitted correction of an analogous place |

b. 84

composition: Op. 26 No 1, Polonaise in C♯ minor
..
A does not include a tie combining both a1 at the beginning of the bar. Chopin completed this deficiency in the proofreading of FE1, at the same time overlooking a respective correction in analogous bar 52. category imprint: Differences between sources; Corrections & alterations issues: Authentic corrections of FE |

b. 84-85
|
composition: Op. 26 No 1, Polonaise in C♯ minor
..
Differently than in analogous bars 52-53, the engraver of FE inserted here two slurs - the first in bar 84 and the second in bar 85. GE2 (→GE3→GE4→GE5) includes one phrasing slur for the last two bars, which is most probably a result of the reviser having compared the notation in analogous bars 52-53. category imprint: Differences between sources issues: Inaccuracies in FE , GE revisions , EE inaccuracies |
