In A bars 71-85 are written in an abbreviated manner as numbered (1-15) empty bars, corresponding to repeated bars 39-53. Due to this reason, all differences in the editions between analogous places of both groups of bars are almost certainly incompatible with Chopin's intention and they result from inaccuracies of his corrections or oversights of the engravers.
