The sole 
mark written in A – the only one between bars 5 and 42 – was completed with a 
mark at the end of bar 28 in a proofreading of FE (→GE,EE). According to us, while adding a in this place, Chopin took into account only the part of the L.H., as a result of which he did not pay attention to the change of mode from major to minor. Therefore, in the main text we suggest an additional change of pedal at the beginning of this bar. Cf. bars 23-26 and 29-31.
