We suggest complementing slurs analogously to motives in bars 29-30, partly added by Chopin while proofreading FE (→GE,EE). The sign in bar 33 was added in GE3 (→GE4) while EE has slurs in both bars. category imprint: Editorial revisions issues: EE revisions , GE revisions |

In the pedalling of bars 29-36, added in a proofreading of FE, the last mark in bar 36 was omitted, which is almost certainly a mistake. The error was repeated only in GE1. category imprint: Interpretations within context; Differences between sources issues: EE revisions , Errors in FE , GE revisions , No pedal release mark |

Doubled hairpins in FE (→GE1,EE) may be explained with Chopin's proofreading of an inaccurately arranged mark: at the beginning the engraver arranged too low, so it seems that it refers to the L.H., which Chopin corrected by adding the 2nd mark over the R.H. The change is of an ad hoc nature, hence in the main text we give the version of A. The correct notation was also guessed in subsequent GE,s. category imprint: Differences between sources issues: Inaccuracies in FE , GE revisions , Authentic corrections of FE |

In A (→FE→EE3) there is no before the 9th semiquaver of the bar (g1). This patent inaccuracy was corrected in GE and EE4. category imprint: Interpretations within context; Differences between sources issues: EE revisions , Accidentals in different octaves , GE revisions |
