The fingering, given by Chopin in a proofreading of FE (→GE), was, according to us, erroneously reproduced – the digits referring to the bottom notes, placed in the editions over the notes, were mistakenly printed two semiquavers late. While proofreading FE (→GE,EE), Chopin changed the notation of the bottom note of the 5th and 6th semiquavers from e1 to d1. At the same time, he did not realise that after the change, a returning d1 in the last pair of semiquavers should be added. Omission of the hairpins in FE (→GE,EE3) is certainly an error of the engraver. The sign of A appears also in two analogous places (bars 4 and 12).
