Fingering in A

No fingering in FE (→GE,EE)

..

The fingering of A, contrary to the remaining indications both in A (bar 1) and in FE (→GE,EE), may be an echo of the original concept or, which is more plausible, an effect of distraction – Chopin wrote digits for the upper voice (correct) and mechanically completed them with ones. The digits were omitted in FE (→GE,EE), which may be a result of the composer's proofreading.
