The brillante and legato indications added by Chopin in a proofreading of FE (→GE,EE) in bars 1 and 3 respectively are considered by us as the final decision of the composer, as far as the articulation and sound of the figurations in the R.H. are concerned. The change should undoubtedly be related to the dynamic markings added in FE: leggierissimo does not rather correspond to the dynamics.
