The semibreve in CLI is undoubtedly the original version. In the final version Chopin enriched the sound and made the rhythm more robust. In Ap  before the lower note of the first octave is missing. In Ap and FE there is no  lowering e1 to e1 on the 2nd beat of the bar. This patent inaccuracy was corrected in GE and EE. In GE3 and EE4 an unnecessary  before the 2nd e is also added.

was written by Chopin in FEcor, yet only the revisers of GE3 (→GE4→GE5) and EE4 placed both parts of the indication in a more or less correct way. In FE (→GE1→GE2, →EE2→EE3)  seems to concern the 2nd semiquaver, whereas  – only the 4th one.

In all sources there are slurs combining tritons with the following octaves (some of them or all). Two slurs in CLI are the only performance markings in this manuscript. In the authentic sources the double slurs do not appear next to all four pairs of two-note chords, however, there are reasons to think that it may be an inaccuracy of the notation. Therefore, in the main text we propose such homogeneous notation, already introduced in EE4 and GE4 (→GE5).

In CLI and Ap the 7th and 15th semiquavers are written as a1. At the same time, the notation of Ap is faultless, whereas in CLI there is no  returning a1 on the 4th beat of the bar. The latter also appears in FEcor, in which Chopin added the , yet only before the last note. It was moved to the correct position only in a later proofreading of FE (→EE2→EE3), which, eventually, displays an entirely correct text.
In GE and EE4 further revisions concerning this section (from the 7th semiquaver to the end of the bar) were performed, adding or removing cautionary accidentals. The modifications do not change the meaning of the text, they only influence its transparency.
