Accent in FE (→GE

Long accent in EE3 (→EE4)

The accent in FE (→GE) must be considered as short. However, there survived no handwritten message of this sign, which requires caution at the time of its interpretation. According to us, the use of a long accent by Chopin is much more likely in this situation. The sign was omitted in EE2, which was completed in the later impressions.
