Slurs
b. 483-484
|
composition: Op. 39, Scherzo in C♯ minor
..
The sources differ here as for the details of slurring. Analogous to bars 479-481, for the main text we adopt the version of GC (→GE). category imprint: Differences between sources |

b. 496-521
|
composition: Op. 39, Scherzo in C♯ minor
..
In the main text we present consistent and logical slurring of FE (only at the beginning of b. 497 the slur's ending/extention from previous bars is missing). They are present in GE, despite different notation of GC, where the slurs in line-ending bars 496, 504 and 512 may actually suggest continuation (except b. 520) but for the lack of their completion at the beginning of bars 497, 505 and 513. EE has varied slurring: twice a three-bar slurs and twice two times longer. category imprint: Differences between sources issues: Inaccuracies in FE , GE revisions , EE inaccuracies , Inaccuracies in GC |

b. 524-525
|
composition: Op. 39, Scherzo in C♯ minor
..
The slur ending as soosn as b. 524 must result from the inaccuracy of GC, which, however, was not copied in GE. category imprint: Differences between sources issues: GE revisions , Inaccuracies in GC |

b. 526-528
|
composition: Op. 39, Scherzo in C♯ minor
..
No slur in FE must be seen as omission - cf. an identical motif in bars 518-521, which is confirmed by slurring of EE and GC. In the main text we present the slur based on the slurring of all the corresponding phrases in FE. The GE has the same slur. category imprint: Interpretations within context; Differences between sources issues: GE revisions |
