Pedalling marks in EE - 
in bars 548 and 552 as well as 
in b. 553 - must be incomplete. It is possible that they were incorrect or unclear already in [A1], which may have triggered their complete omission in GC (→GE). The pedalling marks may have been omitted by the copyist as well (cf. annotation to bars 259-265) as in GC the whole line of bars 547-554 lacks them.
