The replacement of 4 Mazurkas with Quatre Mazurkas does not change the authentic title. However, the addition to the title in EE is definitely inauthentic; the English editor used to add the expression Souvenir de la Pologne to each consecutive opus of Chopin's Mazurkas. In EE2 the dedication was omitted.

 is written in A in the manner allowing for various interpretations. However, it seems that had Chopin wanted it to be binding from bar 11 onwards, he would not have put it in so early. The notation of A suggests that relates to the syncopated octave f2-f3. This interpretation is confirmed by analogous phrases, particularly the clear notation of bars 42 and 112.

The  in A certainly applies to the 3rd beat of bar 18. Despite that, in GE1 (→FE→EE) it was placed at the beginning of bar 19, according to a rather mechanically applied rule that markings of that type should be placed in advance. In GE2 (→GE3) this interpretation was revised and the marking moved back to bar 18.
