b. 92-93

composition: Op. 24 No. 4, Mazurka in B♭ minor
..
In A, the quavers a flat at the beginning of those bars have wedges; in GE1 the wedges were omitted. In FE, staccato dots were added instead, which is most probably the result of Chopin's intervention. Dots were also added in GE2 (→GE3). Absence of any signs in EE might mean that some of the changes in FE were introduced after copies had been sent to London as base texts for EE1. category imprint: Differences between sources; Corrections & alterations issues: Authentic corrections of FE , Wedges |

b. 100

composition: Op. 24 No. 4, Mazurka in B♭ minor

The staccato sign here is in the form of a short thin line, differing from the usual, point-like dots. A comparison with analogous places in the text (bars 14, 38 and similar ones) suggests inaccurate notation of A (uncontrolled hand movement). category imprint: Graphic ambiguousness issues: Wedges |
