In A, both the cresc. in bar 92 and the in bar 95 are entered after the 1st beat of the bar. However, the crescendo-marking dashes only reach the middle of bar 94 which, in the light of the later correction of FE, should be considered inaccurate notation. In GE1 (→FE→EE) the indication cresc. was placed as early as the beginning of bar 92; that inaccuracy was corrected in GE2 (→GE3). In EE, the full word broken into syllables was used instead of a customary abbreviation. In GE1 the dashes after the cresc are found - erroneously - only in bars 92-93, which Chopin corrected in FE by extending them to in bar 95. That latest indication w GE2 (→GE3) was placed, in spite of A, at the beginning of the bar.
In the main text we give the markings of A with taking into account Chopin's correction from FE.
