In bars  47 and 51 in A there are traces of erased accents on the 2nd beat of the bar.

Visible over the R.H., part in A is a deletion that shortens the slur started in the previous bar. A similar correction can be found in bar 16.

There are traces of corrections at the beginning of this bar in A. The note A flat1 was entered by Chopin instead of a deleted chord, most probably the same as the two further chords .

b. 59-71

In bars 59, 63, 67 (R.H.) and 71 (L.H.) in A there are traces of deleting the dot extending the crotchet on the 2nd beat of the bar and the quaver flag at the last note of the bar. However, the spatial arrangement  of those notes within the bar shows that the initial version of the rhythm was just like the final version – 2 quavers and 2 crotchets. It seems that in the course of his work on A Chopin twice changed his mind about the rhythm in those bars:

b. 59-60

Apart from the changes of rhythm Chopin also introduced modifications of performance markings in those bars. We can see the lengthening of the 1st slur in bar 59 and erasing the slur running from the last note of that bar, and also a wedge over the crotchet b flat1 and a removed accent over g flat1. Cf. bars 63-64.
