Small notes in the R.H. in A

Regular font in GE (→FEEE)

Chopin emphasized the accompaniment nature of the R.H. part in A by writing it out in small notes. However, the difference in note size went unnoticed in GE (→FEEE), which may have later prompted Chopin to draw engravers' attention to that kind of detail by means of a special note in the autograph (cf. Etude in A flat major Op. 25 no. 1 and Prelude in F sharp minor Op. 28 no. 8).
