The repetition of the whole Waltz is marked in #CF and PE (segno, two codas at the end of the piece) and written out with notes in FEF and GEF. Both the repetition and the link between bar 52 and bar 1 bear marks of authenticity:

  • initially, the form of the Waltz in A minor, Op. 34 No. 2 was similar;
  • a harmonic link analogous to the link between bars 52 and bar 1 appears in Chopin's pieces on a number of occasions, e.g. in the Waltz in A major, WN 28.

In order to facilitate a transparent comparison of all sources, we change the written-out repetition in FEF and GEF to the version with segno and two codas (like in #CF and PE).
