b. 20

composition: WN 55, Waltz in F minor

The accompaniment on the 2nd and 3rd crotchets in the bar is present in both main versions. The manuscripts include a b-g1 sixth as the 2nd crotchet, whereas the eon the 3rd crotchet is assigned to the R.H. In F, there is a g-b third on the crotchet, whereas the eon the 3rd crotchet is assigned to the L.H. In both versions, some of the sources feature an arpeggio on the 3rd crotchet (in the R.H. or the L.H.).
AR includes - most likely - an arpeggio added in pencil; it may be a lesson comment.

A mordent marking is written in four autographs: AO, AR, AK, AG (→CY). In F, the mordent is written in the form of two semiquaver grace notes. The remaining sources, AE (→CX) and CC, do not include this ornament here.

b. 30

composition: WN 55, Waltz in F minor

In three autographs, AO, AR and AK, there is a trill, in AE (→CX) and CC - a mordent mark, whereas in AG (→CY), there is a triplet. An ornament in the form of two semiquaver grace notes, most probably resulting from the intention to write out the mordent, is present only in F and is probably Fontana's revision.
