In A accidentals in the L.H. part are present only next to the octaves' top notes. This simplified type of notation, typical of Chopin's youthful pieces (although it can also be found in his later works), was supplemented already by GE (→FE,EE,IE). category imprint: Interpretations within context; Differences between sources issues: Accidentals in different octaves , GE revisions , Inaccuracies in A |

In A in bars 211-214 and in the 1st half of bar 215 the accidentals in the R.H. part are generally put only to the top note of an octave. There are exceptions: the f1-f2 octaves in bar 212 and d2-d3 in bar 214, in which the sharps are next to the bottom notes only, and the b1-b2 octave in bar 213, with both naturals. All necessary accidentals were added by GE (→FE,EE,IE). category imprint: Interpretations within context; Differences between sources issues: Accidentals in different octaves , GE revisions , Inaccuracies in A |
