In the main text we do not include the slurs added by GE (→FE,EE,IE), although they certainly correctly describe the motifs' articulation. At this point the articulation is clear (following bars 115-121), and it is likely that by writing two slurs only Chopin wanted to emphasise the significance of the motifs provided with them, ending the two-bar phrases. See also bar 138.
