We provide the whole-bar A pedal mark (→GE), the only indication written here by Chopin, as the principal pedal mark. However, as in a similar context in bar 68 Chopin provided two pedalling variants, we suggest the version with a half-bar pedal mark, in this case absent in FE (perhaps due to an oversight), as an alternative solution.
