Slurs in A, literal reading

Slurs in A (possible interpretation→GE)

Slurs in FE (→EE)

In A it is uncertain from which note the slur in bar 302 should start:

  • Its beginning is much closer to the 1st crotchet than to the e2 minim; such an interpretation is also supported by the preceding slur, which ends over the last crotchet in bar 301.
  • On the other hand, the shape of the slur in bar 302 suggests that it is related to the e2 minim and the respective accent, and not to the 1st crotchet. Such an interpretation is supported by the FE slurs in this place and in analogous bar 135 by the slurs in all sources.

According to us, the arguments for the second interpretation are of greater significance, and this is how we reproduce this slur in our system.
In terms of the slur that ends in the discussed place, in the main text we provide the more natural version of FE (→EE), confirmed by the authentic phrasing of analogous bars 134-135.
