As in bar 109 and analog., the 
hairpins in bars 120-121 and 122-123 were almost certainly added to A as part of corrections and additions after [FC] had been finished, which explains their absence in FE (→EE1). However, the range of these marks in A is questionable:
- The first one reaches the end of bar 120, although its top arm slightly goes beyond the bar line. In GE it was reproduced literally, and this is also the range with which we provide it in our transcription.
- The second one is in bar 122, which ends a page. The mark clearly goes beyond the bar line, hence suggesting that it should be continued, yet there is no continuation thereof in the next bar. In GE this mark was also reproduced as a mark reaching the end of the bar only. In this case, however, we consider the literal interpretation applied in GE to be erroneous and lead the mark to the chord at the beginning of bar 123. Such a solution is supported by respective hairpins in analogous bars 287-288 and 289-290, written more carefully and undoubtedly reaching the beginnings of bar 288 and 290.
Taking into account the above observations, in the main text we model the range of both discussed A marks (not very accurate) after the clear indications in aforementioned bars 287-290.
In EE2 the hairpin in bar 120 was added after comparing it with GE1.
