b. 50
|
composition: WN 29, Waltz in E minor
..
As in bar 18, the missing staccato dot in this bar is probably an oversight by Chopin – cf. bar 42. category imprint: Editorial revisions |

b. 95-96
|
composition: WN 29, Waltz in E minor
..
In PE the range of the hairpin differs slightly in bars 95-96 and 119. As was the case with the L.H. slur in this place (see the note below), it probably resulted from imprecise notation of [A]. The difference does not affect the performance, hence to the main text we adopt the version that in PE occurs together with the slur we chose. In GE the mark in bar 95 was moved, most probably due to the transition to a new line starting from bar 96. category imprint: Differences between sources; Editorial revisions issues: Scope of dynamic hairpins |

b. 99
|
composition: WN 29, Waltz in E minor
..
The missing hairpin in bar 99/123 is most probably an oversight by the engraver, hence in the main text we include (by means of the repeat sign) the mark from bar 99 twice. category imprint: Editorial revisions issues: Errors in PE |

b. 104
|
composition: WN 29, Waltz in E minor
..
In the copy of PE4 presented in mUltimate Chopin, the staccato dot over the e crotchet is invisible. We do not consider it a separate version, since it is almost certainly a result of progressive wear and tear of printing materials – in other copies the dot may be visible. category imprint: Source & stylistic information |

b. 122
|
composition: WN 29, Waltz in E minor
..
As in bar 18, the missing staccato dot in this bar is probably an oversight by Chopin – cf. bar 114. GE added the dot most probably by analogy with bar 114 (or by mistake – in analogous bars 18 and 50 no dots were added). category imprint: Differences between sources; Editorial revisions issues: GE revisions |
