The  hairpin was added by Chopin to FC. In GE the mark was slightly shortened, adjusting it to the quintuplet beam. The hairpin of FC could be considered inaccurate, but a mark of similar range was most probably in [A] in bar 19, which seems to result from the comparison of the versions of FE and FC in that bar.

In the main text we add cautionary naturals to a1 in bars 119, 121 and 123. The first two were also added in GE on the basis of the pencil additions to FC by the reviser of that edition.

The missing arpeggios to the tenth chords in bars 119, 121 and 123 are most probably an oversight by the copyist in FC (→GE1), revised in GE2.
