We add a slur over the double-note chords written in A. In GE1 it was moved under the notes, the correct notation was reinstated in GE2 (→GE3) (→GE4). The double slur EE is probably a result of an editorial revision, and the lack of the slur in FE – an error.
The change made in GE1 is quite often encountered in first editions of Chopin. The engravers/revisers were mechanically using a rule, according to which a slur (and also an accent) should be placed on the side of the note's head. However, in such a situation as is described in the commented bars, it changes the sense of the slur: the slur over the R.H. may refer to the entire chord, including the L.H. and so it was undoubtedly meant by Chopin. 1 with c1 concerns only those notes, potentially the double-note chord in the R.H.
